So from working the deltoids what we are going to continue to focus on doing is on stretching the shoulder joint out and releasing it, kind of stretching it out and releasing it. Then when he is relaxed I am going to pull it across his body and then I am going to kind of grab his scapula. The reason I do this is for comfort and also it gives me an understanding of what part of his rotator cuff or shoulder is tight. So what I'm going to do is if I don't listen to him breath, I'm going to breath on my own, and just push over. I am going to give him a minute and push over, give him a minute, and push over and all the time I am going to hold his scapula. A lot of times the problems that people have is either wing scapula or they have discomfort right underneath the scapula so you don't want to do anything to irritate that. Always go back to a relaxed position after you do this particular modality. The scapula is a bone that is at your bone. It is really considered your shoulder. It goes from the middle of your back to probably the middle of what you consider your shoulder. It is a triangle shaped bone that is attached to several muscles in your back so a lot of discomfort comes from that particular area. I'm just going to continue to stretch them out. Once again we are going to do it three times. We are not trying to manipulate but I am just going to try to bring some comfort to his back and shoulders. What I do is I keep my hand on the scapula and sometimes even raise him up. I'm going to bring his arm back and then relax.
