Working the Shoulder Joint in Sports Massage Therapy

Now from the biceps I'm going to work my way up to the deltoids, to the shoulder joint. So, once again, pull on his arm again, just let it relax. And I'm going to apply pressure on his bicep. Not too much. Press and kind of pull forward. I'm going to press the deltoid and along with that I'm going to stretch it out. And then I'm just going to put it back, just to help him relax. Because if you have tight shoulders, tight biceps, that can be really, really extreme. And kind of tight. So once again, I'm going to press down and forward. Down and forward. And then I'm going to stretch. Let him relax just for a minute. Apply some more pressure. All this is flow. Once again, press down on the bicep, down on the shoulder. And then I'm going to stretch it and pull it out. We're going to relax. Like I said, two to three times on each side. Each modality. Each technique. That would be good to manipulate the muscle. And to help the person relax more and get the best benefit they can from that particular technique.
