Attaching Wires During Phone Jack Installation
Hi, I am Drew Fendy here today to demonstrate how to install a jack for your telephone for ExpertVillage.com. This is how we are going to connect the wire to the fishing rod. We take the wire, we have got the rod here with the hook and we hook it around the hook like this so that it does not fall off. And then we take some black electrical tape, wrap it around, make a really good connection, and now we can pull it back. “Pull it down down there”. So he pulls it back in and we fish – “Keep pulling”. Now it is down in the basement so we can connect, pull it through to the length that we need to attach to the existing connection and then we will cut the wire up here at the right length to do our box.
