How to Play a Basic Drum Fill

One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. So that's just the basic feel, and of course as I was saying before, there's many other variations of this. And of course you can speed it up, slow it down. But that's a basic beat, variation on the hi-hat, snare, kick drum and just a basic fill around the drums. And to the hi-hat, which of course is used for keeping time. The ride, excuse me is used for keeping time, just as the hi-hat is. So that's a basic, a basic beat into a basic fill.
