Hi! My name is Elton Hall and I'm from Texas State Optical in Austin, Texas. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm going to show you how to insert and remove contact lenses. Now, how to take the contact lens out. You can actually pinch the contact lens. I'm going to show you how to do that. What you want to do is you want to make sure that you get your eyelids open. Take your fingertip and put it directly on the contact lens just like that. Move it down and try to pinch it out just like that. In order to take the contact lens off, instead of pinching it, if you don't feel comfortable using the pinch method. I'm going to use a mirror really quick. You can take the contact lens, pull it to the side, and sweep it out just like that. It should come to the corner of the eye. You can take it and pinch it off just like that. If you feel more comfortable like that. Some people can not do that and they go back to the pinch method. If you can, if it's easier for you, you're welcome to do that. Some people have tighter eyelids to where they can not actually use that method. Sometimes it'll go a little bit further in the corner of the eye. Don't let if freak you out, but you can actually take it and just sweep it out just like that.
