Facebook: Band Promotion & Marketing

Another great way to advertise your band on the internet is through different types of home community networks such as Facebook. Facebook is a great place because it lets you be connected to a network, set up different groups and also talk about events and things that you are going to do. This band, Airmageddon, has set up a Facebook group about their band. They include recent news, different photos, videos, and posted items. They also have links to some music videos and YouTube. Message boards are really great for your promoting your band as well. Message boards have different types of areas of interest. People who are interested in your band can talk about everything that you have done and discuss previous shows. There are different threads in message boards. This is a great way for fans interested in the same music to get connected to each other.
