A great thing to have to bring on tour with your band and to sell as good, is merchandise for your band. Merchandise can include anything from tee shirts, CDs, stickers and other promotional gimmicks. Merchandise should include the name of your band, have a logo and also highlight the album of your band. Example of a great tee shirt, is for the group Armageddon. This is the name of their band. They have a creative logo that goes with the name of their group on their tee shirt. Another great thing of merchandise is stickers. Stickers have the name of the band and can be placed all over the place to help promote and advertise your band. Other merchandise includes buttons. This band, Take Back the Night, wants to have buttons to have their band advertised around. Other things that you can do to promote, is have lanyards with your band information on it. To have CDs that you sell at different shows. And you can also have things such as selling ringtones as merchandise. These ringtones are a really great way to advertise and promote your band. Merchandise can also be, should be sold at your shows, but it can also be available online. Many bands have online places to buy merchandise, so if people want to buy them at shows and can't, they always go online. Here is an example of an online merchandise website.
