How to Check Paintball Packs for Wear

Hello this is Rob Rubin and you're watching Expert Village. Something else you want to check at the end of the day or when you get home is you want to check your pod and your pod pack. It might seem like a minor thing but this is one of those things that if your pack is bad and you don't realize it, it can really put a bad thing on your day. So when you get home you want to check your pod packs. You want to check and make sure that your velcro is nice and tight on this, that under load it is not going to just rip open and all your paint is going to fall out. Also if you have an elastic on the middle sort of like the 2 X 3's, check to make sure that the elastic is still very very stretchy. If it is completely stretched out then I wouldn't trust it to paint. I've seen guys running in the middle of the game and all their pods fall out because the elastic is so loose. Another thing you want to check are the pods themselves because pods are made out of plastic and pods break. So if the lid is broken, if the hinge is broken then you really don't want to use the pod. Now these things are pretty cheap but out on the field these are the last things that you want to have break on you, especially when you're walking through the woods or playing in the woods and this pops off and is hung upside down and there are 140 rounds on the ground. It's a minor thing but since you are already taking apart all of your gear at the end of the day, you might as well check it.
