Shortcuts for Virtual DJ

Hey everybody, my name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Alright, there is a lot of different shortcuts you can use in Virtual DJ. I'm going to touch on some of the more commonly used ones. For starters, if you hit the "P" button that is going to start playing your track. You can also use the space bar, it does the same thing. It pauses and plays. It's going take effect on whichever table you have selected. If you click the "2" up here, that's going to make it affect the second table. I'm just going to click back on "1". The "B" button is a shortcut for beat lock. That will turn that on and off. If you click "left" and "right" buttons, that's going to nudge your track left and right. You can also use "shift" and "left" and "right". If you use the " " and "-" (plus and minus) on the keyboard, that's going to adjust your pitch here. You can set cues by holding down the "command" button and if you hit a number, that's going to set that numbered cue. If you hold down the "option" button and hit a number, that's going to go to that numbers cue. Also, if you hit the "F1-F8" button, that is going to play the samples that you've set down here. So you don't have to come down and manually click on them. For a more extensive list of the shortcuts you can click on "Virtual DJ" and "preferences", and click the "shortcuts" tab. That's going to list all of them for you. But, I hope you've learned a lot and happy mixing.
