How to Turn On a GPS

Hi, my name is Tony and on behalf of Expert Village, this is "How to Use Your GPS: Basic Edition," of course. Let's go! Chapter 2: Turning on and Acquiring a Satellite on your GPS. The unit that we are going to be using here is the TomTom One. The power button is located on the top right. What you do is reach up, simply press the button and hold until it lights up. Once it lights up, go ahead and let go. Let it do its thing. Right now, it's acquiring its satellite. This usually takes anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes. It's actually looking up in the sky, trying to find everything to triangulate your location, exactly where you are. After everything has loaded, the colors will change on this specific unit and you'll be able to begin from there. So right now it says "No route has been planned" but that the "satellites have been acquired." So that's the first thing we do.
