Questions & AnswersYou brush them out before you bathe them because the water sets the tangles in it and makes a mat and that is why a lot of people their dogs are matted when they come in. They get wet from the water sprinkler or the rain and you don’t want it to dry wet without brushing it first. When you brush these little dogs there is nothing in grooming that should hurt nothing. And this brush most people want to hold it like this and go like that. See how that pulls her ear and she’s not even tangled. So you just do like this or I do like this and get the top part and it will work its way down. You just like it’s going through butter. See, there’s a tangle. That is one mistake most people make. They get this brush and when they are new they are real stiff. In fact this one is still is and so they don’t want to brush the dogs because it hurts them. Like you don’t do like this. And that is what everybody thinks. Have a destination from here to there and you are only going to put a little bit of hair in at a time. Just go like butter real smooth. See it’s hanging there.
