Hi! My name is Sahira and I’m here on behalf of Expert Village to give you a little bit information about belly dancing. The costuming can sometimes be a little more difficult unless you live in an area that has a high middle-eastern population or a lot of belly dancers. Finding the costumes can be a bit of a challenge, most of the costumes come from Egypt, searching online for belly dance costumes will give you a huge array of choices. Notice that there’s a difference between costumes that come from Turkey that are used typically for Turkish style belly dance and Egyptian style costumes. There’s more modern costuming that is now available online and the tribal style costuming is available in many different locations everything from E-Bay to you know your standard searches will pull up a lot of different things. You have to be a little patient and if you are purchasing an expensive costume, which many of the Egyptian style costume will run you in the area from $400-$600, be sure you can try it on first before buying anything.
