How to Jam Reggae in C Major on Bass

Now, we're going to take another look at our tab once again, this time we wrote out the actual intervals. If we take a look over here, we have our open strings over here, here's our open strings, our fret markings, one, two, three, and four. Those are our, four, first frets on the guitar, and the other strings, bottom string, lower string, going up, right? We started right here, on the third fret, open, two, three, open, two, three, four, five. Now, we number the intervals. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. So, those are important intervals, as they fall on the bass. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. Seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. So, it's just another way to look at the bass and this is really, a good way to actually analyze the bass, cuz now we can see the actual scales of lines up, and we can go backwards down the scale too and start on one and go down. One, seven, six, five, four, three, and we only get down to three as our low note, three, four, five, six, seven, one. But, right now we're just looking at the tab strings, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. So, go through and really get that scale under your fingers.
