Using Sketched Intervals for C Major on Bass

Now we are going to take another look at our tab once again. This time we wrote out the actual intervals. So if we take a look over here we have our open strings over here. Here's our open strings. Our fret markings one, two, three, and four. So those are our four first frets on the guitar. Then we have our strings, bottom string, lowest string going up right? We started right here on the third fret open, two, three, open, two, four, five. Now we number the intervals one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. So those are important intervals as they fall on the bass one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. So it's just another way to look at the bass and this is really a good way to actually analyze the bass because now we can see the actual scales that lines up. We can go backwards on the scale too and start on one and go down one, seven, six, five, four, three. We only get down to three as our low note three, four, five, six, seven, one. But right now we are just looking at the tap strings one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. So go through and really get that scale under your fingers.
