So the salsa twist is one of my own little inventions. Basically you treat the pole like it is your salsa partner. Like the pole is going to spin you and twist you. It takes a little bit of hand coordination to get this movement correct but once you get it, it is a lot of fun. I would demonstrate for you. There is my twist. I'm going to walk across the pole, my hand I'm actually going to loose my hand in that pole. Then it is going to come around and twist me. Like someone is spinning me. Now what you do with your body in the rest of these moves is up to you. I tend to like tuck my knee in, let my other arm fall low, like a little bit of a salsa dance. There is my knee tuck, there is my hand out. So try it with both hands it is a little bit more difficult if you are right handed but you can get it if you try with practice. Walk across the pole, loose your hand, grab that pole again and twist yourself. Walk across the pole, loose the pole, grab your pole and twist yourself. Across the pole, loose the pole, grab the pole and twist yourself.
