And now another sad, sad scale: the E minor scale. There are some very interesting minor scales that you will find and E minor is another very popular minor scale. (Plays scale.) And to make a minor scale, you take the third note and the sixth note in the scale and you play them half a step lower; you flat them. Flatting and sharping are things we will get into in a more advanced series, but it's basically making a note a little higher by sharp or a little flatter. Just like a balloon: higher or flatter.
