Fry Homemade Donuts
Hi, I'm Rachel for Expert Village. Now I'm going to take the donut and place it in the oil. I'm going to start with the ones that does not have jelly inside. Very gently cause they might fall down. You should not put to many at once cause as you can see they need to float on top and they need enough space to grow. When they rise enough, you can see right away they float. If they are not, if they did not rise enough they would not float first they would sink down and then they would float. I'm going to turn it over. The ones with the holes inside take less time of course, they have less dough. They get all the oil from the inside which cooks it from all around so they take less time to be fried. The other ones take a little bit longer. If you see that they get brown too quick you should lower the fire down. You can see those donuts are ready, they are nicely brown. The little ones are ready to, the very small ones they get cooked very quickly.
