How to Tune the Mandolin
Hi! I am Michael Oberst for Expertvillage.com and I am a mandolin instructor. In this segment we are going to be tuning our mandolins together. I will be playing for you the notes on my mandolin which in yours should sound the same. We will start with our higher string the E. Move up one to our next string the A. Once you have got that all tuned up we will go on to our next string D. Then last but not least we have the string G. Now you could have tuned with me or to make sure that you are in tune or you can also purchase these tuning automatic tuners, you can use with your mandolin. They can be found in almost any guitar stores or music shops in your area.
