Hi, this is Rishabh Jain on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I am going to tell you how rough diamonds convert into polished diamonds. Earlier the rough diamonds were changed to polished with hands but now it is being done through laser machines. The very first step is the marking of the diamond and it is done through lasers. Here you can see the diamond and this is the rough diamond. Here is the marking. The second step is the cutting of the rock. Here you can see that this rock has been converted into this shape after cutting and then the shape is given to the diamond. Like here you can see the shape is a bit wavy but here it is called the proper round circle and the proper shape. Then comes the facets. The facets have been made and here you can see all the facets from the top view and the side view. After we give the facets and the different features of the diamond has been enhanced. Then the diamonds have been polished and you will see here that the diamonds have been polished. So this is the process when the diamonds have been polished.
