Okay, let's learn another note on the G string. We just learned A, it's the second fret, A. Now, we're going to use our fourth finger for the first time to play the fourth fret, on the G string which is the note B. G, A, B, A, G. Now if these were the only notes we're playing, G, natural A, natural B, natural A and natural G. We can actually use our first finger to play the second fret to play A. But if we were to somehow be playing the G sharp in between, we would need to use our fourth finger here. So, get used to playing A and B with your first and third finger also with your second and fourth finger. How about the octaves? Well, we knew the octave for A was open A. The octave for B, is that second fret of the A string. If we use our second finger here, then we use our pinkie here. If we use our first finger here, then we use our third finger. Try alternating between your octaves and try playing that pattern. Let's look at how things are written for the G string. We have this top space for the G, A, then B. Open G, second fret, the G then the fourth fret. So good luck and try combining all these strings.
