Hi, this is Rich Buccola out of New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I am going to show you how to make a rotisserie chicken. It takes about an hour to a hour and a half of cooking time to make this chicken. I'm telling you, if you could smell it, you would want to have dinner with us! That is why you cook with a rotisserie. People ask "why you would want to cook with a rotisserie?" It cooks in its own juices, which is beautiful, and also because it is just the perfect way to cook a chicken. "How much does a rotisserie cost?" This definitely cost me two hundred dollars and you see it on late night television all of the time. I bought it and I am glad I did, it is great! I am sure that they range from all different prices. "Why do you want to cook with it?" Because it pretty much cooks the food, you don't have to do anything. I prepped it in less than five minutes, got it in and I was just waiting for it to get done to pull out. "What does it do to the food?" You can literally take the cheapest piece of meat, put it in the rotisserie and it will be butter. It will be a great piece of meat! You can actually use a rotisserie to make cheaper beefs or cheaper cuts of meats taste really tender and very good. If you can afford one, they are really small and can fit on the kitchen counter top. I say go out and get one, spend the money. I have had mine for years and I have cooked many, many different pieces of meat and have never ever once had anything burn or disappoint me. Go out and get a rotisserie.
