Hi, I’m Lillian with Salon de Scottsdale and on behalf of expertvillage.com I’m here to continue on the process of giving yourself a French manicure. We’ve completed the left hand, the pulmonary parts of the left hand which is removing the polish, well we actually removed the polish of both hands. But at this point is when you would do to your other hand what you’ve done to the first hand, which is we removed the polish, we shaped the fingernails square, we have applied the cuticle softener, soaked the hand in warm soapy water for 5 to 8 minutes, we remove the hand out of the water, we used the cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles, we used to cuticle nipper to cut off the excess skin and we cleaned under the free edge. We also used the nail buffer to buff and smooth out the ridges from your fingernails, so now you’re going to want to do that to your right hand. After you’ve done that to your right hand we will start with base coat. The base coat is a polish that goes on before the white tips and what you’re going to do is you’re going to just clean off the excess polish from the nail brush and just apply on your clean fingernail and just continue on with the rest of your nails.
