Bass Clef on A String: Bass Guitar Basics

So now that we can play A,B, and C in the A string A,B,C,A lets see how we can read them in the bass clef on tablature. So for our A string the lowest note we have is A in this space remember all cows each grass this is all. Okay the B is the line right above that space so you can think of boys right there from good boys do find always but also just notice that alpha after A is B and after B is C. So sometime when you know where 1 note is the next note is right above so you can think to the next letter. So A,B, and C. Now the tablature for this is open A, second fret of the A string the 3rd fret of the A string. These won't give you the name of the note but it is good to start linking these up and possibly writing them down on paper. Now look how the progression from E worked it started E,F,G,A,B,C so you notice that musical alphabet ends on G and restarts again on A. Our tablature was first fret and 3rd fret for the E string and the 2nd fret and 3rd fret for the A string and it is applied the we use our 1st finger fret and 3rd finger for the 3rd fret. Just because we are playing in the first position and that is the pattern we would be using for now.
