Okay now let's look how to properly hold our bass guitar on our lap. We are going to want to refer to the body for this. At the bottom of our body right here it should have a curve. This curve is meant for our right leg. The end of our right leg here where it meets our body. We keep our base vertical, we want to keep our right foot elevated. So I would use some kind of box or they sell certain foot rest for guitars. I just using a tool box here you can use any household item that works. To keep this base a little bit more securely fasten. This arm would be supporting the base so we won't need our left hand to support our base. We have the option of using a strap for extra support. This strap would connect from one peg at the top of the body. Then we can take the strap and put it around our neck. You can tighten if you like it is a extra form of support even though this is not necessary but when we stand up to play our base line we would need a strap.
