Components: Bass Guitar Basics
Before we begin playing let's take a look at the components of our bass. We have 3 main sections to our base guitars we have the body, the neck and then the head. It is like a animal. The body here has pick ups pick ups which pick up the vibration as they are. The electronically of these strings trying to submit them through a cable to a amplifier. We need a amplifier to really get a true sound without a amplifier you don't get nearly as much sound. These knobs here are for volume and tone control. This will this knob you will probably have a knob which switches between pickups and then a knob here. I recommend keeping everything on both pickups and all full volume. This is the neck we are discussing the strings run from the bridge here all the way across the neck and connect the tuning pegs on the head. This here is the fret board or finger board if you have no frets it would be the name for it. These are fret markers on this space. You may have fret markers, regular frets, or no fret markers at all. So just get use to the name on this bass pick of the components.
