Blues Scales with Root Gb: Part 2

Now we are going to take a look how that scale is written. So we are on our paper again we have our G flat major, 6 flats, B flat, A flat, D flat, E flat, C flat. We are going to start here on our 1 G flat and then we have our flat 3, put another flat there so we have 1 flat 3 and it is a double flat so this runs as a A. We can just write it as A natural to and then you have your 4, your natural 4 or sharp 4 and your 5 and then this is our 7th. Even though it is a notch up we are putting naturals on there. So we have 1, flat 3, 4, sharp 4, 5, flat 7 and then you are back at the 1 there and that is your blue scale and G flat major.
