Prepare Soil with Compost to Grow Garlic

One of the most essential ingredients to growing great garlic is compost. Plenty of organic matter is what compost thrives on. This is some nice composted cow manure in from the neighboring dairy farm. It is loaded with worms. Going to put some of that right over the soil. Nice thing about compost is you really can't put too much down. You get into chemical fertilizer's here, here you have to burn the plant, waste a lot of nutrients. Compost is a stable material. You are really building the structure of the soil. Dig that in. Rocks we don't need and that's that.
