Climbing the pole to a short set this requires that you are able to climb the pole and 2 you can with stand a little bit of pain. I will demonstrate short climb just means that you are not going to pop yourself way up to the ceiling as you take a jump up onto the pole. So there is my vice, here is my low arm, here is my high arm and I sit up onto the pole. In order to sit up onto the pole you would notice that the inside of my thigh is pulling on this pole.
