And they say he used this axe. Hi I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to tell a good ghost story. There's one more thing to keep in mind with voices when you're telling a story and that is a lot of times especially when representing a villain or a monster or entities in the story. People like to do different voices "and then the killer went up the stairs with this axe looking for blood" things like that. Now a little of this can go a long way, again people tend to over do this they'll be doing all sorts of various voices and the only thing they're doing is channeling the voice in their own head. But other people don't find entertaining or fun I recommend even if you are on the theater stage it's you people who are particularly at risk of doing this, don't over do the voices. Maybe you can do one or two, there's a very fine line between scary voices and silly ones. What is scary too a lot people will be silly to a few all you need to have is a couple of gigglers in your story and the atmosphere is gone it's broken. Suddenly it's something to laugh at and not be freaked out by even people who maybe still be a little freaked out where automatically pressing the haha laugh. Cause it's no longer fun any more they're just doing voices and that's funny, isn't it? So watch out for doing too much of the way of the voices, talking in your own voice is really good enough most of the time.
