Crescent Kick for Martial Arts Fitness
The next kick we're going to do is called an outside crescent kick. It's a circular motion. It would be like that is the motion, and you're going to hit with the outside of your foot right out here, the blade. Your knee stays straight. You don't turn your hip over on this one, but you do a motion like that kicking on the way out. Well now that we just did the outside crescent kick, I'm going to show you how to do the inside crescent kick. This kick you would use this part of your foot to hit something. This part right here. So if you are kicking, and let's say somebody's holding a knife. You'd have to be really fast, but you go all the way in and knock it out this way with the inside of your foot. Now, for workout purposes and to give you a good workout, I'm going to demonstrate this kick stepping into it and circling all the way around. At home, why don't you do 10 of these kicks on each side and it'll give you a good workout.
