How to Do the Splits for Martial Arts Fitness
Next, we're going to go into the splits, which is really an important part of martial arts training to really get that flexibility. You're going to use your hands to balance and put one leg in front, and you're going to slide down. Make sure you keep your back knee rolled under, and you should feel your back toes on the floor, and slide into it. For martial arts it's good to just sit like this. For more of a stretch, you can go down, stretch your hamstrings more and come up. Then you can also do point to get a slightly different stretch. Then to go to the other side, it's the same thing. You just put the other leg in front. Use your hands to balance and there you are.
