How to Make Trim for Upright Bookshelf

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we would be making trim. On the front edge of my sides and my top and bottom it looks pretty bad so I'm going to be making some trim to put on that to cover it up so it looks like just one big board. The first piece I'm going to make is going to be six feet long to cover up the entire side. The next piece I make would be twenty and a half inches long and this would cover up the front edge on both the top and bottom pieces. I started by cross cutting my board to six feet and another board twenty and a half inches (21 1/2). Next I'm going to use the joiner along my edges. After that I'm going to rip some pieces over three quarters (3/4) of a inch. Once all of our trim pieces have been cut we are ready to plan them down to size.
