Hi! My name is Julio Anta of Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida, and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com. And within the kettlebell for martial artists, the next move that I am going to show you is called the snatch. Incredible for ballistic power to overwhelm your opponent; you have to burst into your opponent, punch into him…this give you incredible power, utilizing you entire body, giving you coordination. Now watch, this move is a little different. This move, you are almost swinging it close to your body. You let it swing back. Swing it close to your body, dip under to catch it, and straighten up, and then just bring it back down. So watch this move. It’s an Olympic weightlifting move that is done with one kettlebell. So you can see weight on my heels, butt out, C curve, shoulders back. Again, 5-25 repetitions are good. To learn it, just go five so you don’t get tired and start losing form. Swing, catch it under, come up and down, swing, catch it under, punch up and back down. As you could see the ballistic, the hip power for all marital arts, and how it’s the way your body moves. Weight training you have to push, static; this is fast like your body moves.
Excellent video, I enjoy this guy more than the others.
