Kettlebell for Martial Arts Power Clean & Press Punch Exercise

Hi! My name is Julio Anta of Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida, and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com. And continuing with kettlebell for the martial artists, this is very important for standup fighters. They give you power in your punch. It’s a variation of the clean and power press, but we are adding a punch. Watch. Kettlebells you can be creative; you can add things; you can even do stands training, but watch what we’re going to do. I am going to clean, as we did earlier…legs, same thing, press; but now I am going to switch it, as I come down, I am going to punch out, punch and drag. So clean, press, catch it, punch. What you are getting with this is the power…you get your hips to work, and you are now getting the power of a cross or a reverse punch in this move. Excellent if you are a boxer, mixed martial arts fighter, kick boxer, or just the recreational martial artist that wants to get power in their punch. So let’s watch it with the left hand, same move. I am going to clean, catch, that’s one dip; press, that was two dip; three, and punch it out, and bring it down. Repetitions, we could work with anything between 5 and 25 repetitions, depending on the way you are using.
