Build a Gazebo Conclusion

Hi! Welcome back to Expert Village. My name is Charlie Folkman and today we are going to continue building our gazebo. Okay so through the span of the day, the first thing we did was we looked up all the information we needed about building a gazebo on the internet. Second step we decided on the shape of our gazebo which was an octagon. Third step was we actually sat there and we went through and designed this on paper to scale exactly how we wanted to build it and remember that is a very important step because you need to have an idea of what you want to build. Then we went to the lumber yard after we figured out how much materials, wood we needed. When we got back from the lumber yard, we started the construction. The construction phase in the garage, we started with the base. We were done with the base, brought it out here and put it on the drop cloth and then we started building it from beam through. After that we went over the staining process and how to waterproof it. We gave some ideas for decorations and some ideas for some different configurations. So now it's sunset, absolutely gorgeous night. The next step in our gazebo is actually just the enjoyment process. I wish our buddy Richard was here to enjoy this but he never came back with the coffee and that was about 5 hours ago, so I will have to give him a call later.
