Building a French Bread Pizza

Hi, this is Richard Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today I'm going to show you how to take all of that frozen pasta sauce that you have your freezer and show you different ways to make some fast inexpensive pizza where you and the kids can have fun making it. So you see our French bread is really nice and crusty, it's nice and brown, the edges are brown. The inside is always going to be a little moist, because I put the olive oil there. But now I'm going to put a nice amount of sauce, you'll see those fresh pieces of garlic in my sauce. This was actually a roasted garlic sauce that I made last week, it came out wonderful. And I'm making some pizza with what's left, you know, sometimes I'll just heat this up. Just boil some pasta and that could be a meal too, but this is fun ways to get the kids involved. I think everybody loves pizza, you could use your own experience and you know, figure out different toppings you want to put on. I always go with Mozzarella, cause that's the best cheese for it. You could use Parmesan or any other types of cheese, you can go healthy and cook with fresh vegetables, grow vegetables. But you'll see I'm putting lots of Mozzarella cheese.
