Chopping Garlic for Bruschetta

Hi this is Rich Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to take all of that frozen pasta sauce that you have in your freezer and show you different ways to make some fast inexpensive pizza where you and the kids can have fun making it. So were chopping up our garlic now to go in our bruschetta and here you see it's in there skin what you want to do is put your knife on the point get it towards the back end of the knife just give it a good punch. It will come right out of the shell you'll see and that's it what you want to do is cut it and sometimes you want to get that tip off to where the stem was. So you get that tip off and just give it a good couple of chops and were just going to put it here were going to chop them up by putting a couple of big chunks. You want to get this fine and then again putting your tip your just going to work the back of the knife back and forth just keep it like this. Just moving the garlic back in and as it gets stuck to the end just push it down and try to get this chop up real fine moving your knife back and forth the butt end. Chopping this garlic small as possible so when I get back I'm going to have all the 8 cloves of garlic chopped and add it to our bruschetta and this stuff is fantastic.
