Mixing Onions & Tomatoes for Bruschetta

Hi this is Rich Buccola here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to take all of that frozen pasta sauce that you have in your freezer and show you different ways to make some fast inexpensive pizza where you and the kids can have fun making it. See I added the red onion to the tomato I'm going to start mixing it up it looks beautiful you want to chop it all fine you get these to marinade and what's nice is that you can make this in the morning. I know I always say this but I make a lot stuff before I go to work in the morning I'll wake up a little earlier and this way to your never late for work cause your up earlier. The extra half of onion you only need half of onion in this or one small onion don't over kill it over onion make sure the onion is chopped fine. The other half of onion you just put it in your tin foil or even a sandwich bag and just save it for something later on. When we get back were going to show you the basil I'm going to show you how to use fresh basil and how I take it right from plant that I grew here in New York City.
