How to Glide in Ice Dancing

Now for gliding moves we're going to do a spiral. Everybody sees a spiral. You'll always see it in competition. Okay, Cindy, spiral. Nice arched back with your leg lifted. Okay, another gliding move is the spread eagle. You're on 2 outside edges. That's a very very pretty gliding move. The next move you're going to do is the bower. The bower can be done on both an outside edge and an inside edge. They have inside bowers and outside bowers. You can either be like this, which is an inside bower, or you'll be going straight, which is the outside bower like that. Those are most of the gliding moves and anything that you can do that's really pretty in between with arms. Arms are always good to use. There's also an attitude. Chinese spiral. Where you start in the attitude, grab your leg, and pull up.
