Setting Up a Screen for 16mm Films

Hi! I am Grady Johnson with Karma Train Productions. Today, I’ll be discussing 16 mm film and I’m representing Expert Village.com. Now we are ready to setup our projection screen. There are a lot of different kinds of screens out there, but they are all pretty much the same. They have kind of a stand and they go up pretty much the same way, as I am about to show you now. So once you get it out of the case, a lot of these come with a different kind of case. I recommend you use the case; it just protects it a little bit and just keeps the dust off. Get that case out of your way there. You don’t want to trip over it and then pull your stand up. So you can see the feet right here, have a little button, just go ahead and pop those out. Get the feet out and pop those into place. Once that’s all locked in, then you go ahead and get it up on your feet. Once you get your stand in place, then you want to go ahead and spin this around flat. Now first, you want to pull your bar down, and now we have that spot around, we’ll pull up our screen. Go ahead and pull that all the way up and lock it in and then set it to the height you want. Go ahead and turn it around, square it up. Now that you got your projection screen set where you want it, you can go ahead and line up your projector.
