ATV Protective Gear & Clothing

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is David and I am here to tell you about ATV's and accessories that go with them. All right if you are going to be driving a quad long enough, you are going to suddenly find the need for a little crash protection. Hopefully you already have it on you. This gives you an idea of a few things available. On the lower end of the scale is an open face helmet. Very simple, very easy to use, gives you good protection everywhere except the face of course. These things start at about $40. If you want a little more protection, you can go with a motor cross style helmet. Again, you get the same good protection all the way around but you also get some good face protection and a nice visor to keep the sun out of your eyes. These things start at about $50. A good range for a quality one is $70 to $100 and if you have got enough money, you can keep spending more. Three or 400 dollars is easy to do. Along with that eye protection, goggles. Real good idea. Glasses are nice and will keep the sun out of your eyes if they are sunglasses but when you start following someone in the dust, you need a little bit more protection. So goggles highly recommended, fairly inexpensive; $25 and up.
