Installing ATV Fender Bags & Saddle Bags

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is David and I am here to tell you about ATV's and accessories that go with them. Another option that you can have for a little extra storage space, cameras and stuff is either a fender bag or a saddle bag. The fender bag can be placed several ways but generally speaking what you want is to set them where they will be out of your way so that you are not kicking them; sit them way down here or a lot of folks prefer to set it and tie it up here. Of course, it helps when it is secure here. So it gives you another option. Water bottles, cameras, cell phones, close at hand, out of the way, out of arms way. Several of ways to secure is you will find most of these products have straps. The best thing to do is find out where they will conveniently tie down. A little bit of experimentation but once you get it where you like it, it will stay that way and work for you. Again, make sure that it is not going to interfere with what you are doing or what you want to use. In the case of this one with the box that opens, it may not be your ideal choice but most front racks don't have boxes so not a problem. There is one strap. Down here a little tricker with this unit with a little more time, find myself a nice spot by tucking it inside here and tying it inside. Or hook and loop tight with good sticky stuff. Wash it very clean and make sure it is very dry. Stick your hook in loop tape down there. It will hold it very well and when you are ready to remove it, zip it comes right off. Okay saddle bags. These work well on most quads especially if they have a fuel cap and with this particular unit we have a gear shifter in the way. In case of this, set your saddle bag in place, put your fuel cap back on and there it is. Also, hook and loop tape. It will hold it more secure.
