Pre-Planning for Home Renovation
When you decide that you want to renovate your home, there is a very long gestation period in the beginning. Thinking about what you want to do, why you want to do it, the practical aspects of it, and how it all fits into what you have currently including your finances. The gestation period and conceptualization really cannot be rushed if you’re a creative person. You want to be able to expand your ideas and think through different possibilities, talk to friends and family, and sleep on it. For my husband and I, it took two years of gestation before we were ready to begin the plan of our home renovation.
