Setting Up a 90 Gallon Bow Front Aquarium

Hi! My name is Marc on behalf of expertvillage.com. This is an another freshwater aquarium, more sophisticated, and a little more difficult to setup and install than the 18 gallon Eclipse freshwater. This is a 90 gallon acrylic bow-front aquarium, it gets its name from the arcing from left to right and in front of the aquarium, it is little more hip, and it is little bit more modern. In this tank the filtration is hidden, the biological part of it is hidden underneath the gravel, it is called an under gravel filter. In the corners are two pipes, on top of that are two power heads, the power heads are pulling water, full of oxygen down through the gravel bed, where the bacteria is, hence the biological filtration and then pumping them back out through those pipes. It happens all day long, over and over and over and that keeps the tank biologically balanced. Underneath the aquarium is a canister filter, this is the mechanical aspect of it. This one is a Fluval canister filter, it has carbon and filter sponges, which take out particles, and keep the water polished and clear for your viewing pleasure; and it is a little bit more sophisticated than the 18 gallon Eclipse, definitely a lot larger and a little more of a custom install. You can also install this or a professional can install this for you or you can try it yourself.
