Creating House Concert Mailing Lists

Hi! This is Jim Goettler with Expert Village and this video series is about producing a house concert. Providing you found a really nice house and had some great performances over the year, don't overlook keeping a mailing list of the people who have come to your house to enjoy the art and music. This is a beginning of a community of people who grow and grow in time and it is a way to keep everyone networked who have been coming to the shows and enjoying the shows and probably get great feedback. Don't hesitate to ask the people who are coming who they want to see. As you get into this and realize how much fun it can be to bring performers and people in your community together, you are going to want to do it again and again. The best way to get ideas coming forth, ask the people who are coming to keep them on a mailing list even in terms of putting a newsletter together. It will take a little bit of time but the community will only thank you for it. It's been great talking to you about house concerts and I encourage you to watch other videos in this program.
