Hi! I'm Alana Pratt, your sexy mom expert, and I want to talk to you about the importance of dance. Now listen, as we go through our world, quite often we're spinning in our head. Do, do,do. In our body, that is where actually all of our intuition lies, our guidance system is right in here, not in here. What I want to encourage you moms to do is take time as often as you can, even it's one song a day or even if it's 20 minutes only once a week. Take some time, close the door, find some space, and put on some music and really just start to get out of your head and into your body. Are your shoulders tight? What is that telling you? Is the world on your shoulders? You need to ask for help. I remember when I first started to do this. You know those kegel exercises we do after giving birth. I was walking around in a permanent kegel thinking somehow this was going to keep me safe in life. As I dances and started to let it go, I really felt scared. Was the universe really going to support me? I'm a single mom. Your body is going to tell you things. Maybe your heart is really tight. You want to really open up your arms and dance. What is your heart telling you? Is there something you have not been honoring yourself about or valuing yourself about. Your body will tell you. Have a good cry about how scared you are or how angry you are, and then once all that is gone just celebrate that you are glorious being. Maybe you've been sending hatred to your butt or your thighs. What would it feel like to be your thighs right now with all that self-hatred you send to yourself all the time? Send some love to your thighs. Maybe they're bigger than they used to be, but who cares. They're voluptuous. Send love to those areas of your body that you have not been sending love to, and see how you feel after just one dance. See if you're in the mood to make love. See if you no longer even need his attention to be enough, which truly is the most attractive thing. Those women that know we're enough exactly how we are. Dance for me women. Dance.
