On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Tom Roland and we are at Cottonwood Motor Sports and I am here to tell you about doing a service on a Polaris Quad and this is fairly representative of macho, many of them. This is the rear brake reservoir on this mode. The rear brake reservoir is on different places on different models. The fluid is pretty clean and clear because it is a brand new unit. When the oil and the fluid starts to get dark, that indicates that it is getting moisture into it and it has worn out and it is hard on the metal parts and stuff that is on the system so it is good to change it. The factory generally recommends every couple of years to change the fluid out. If there is any doubt at all under 100 hour service, we go ahead and change the fluid and bleed the front and rear brakes. On Polaris's they have dual systems. The front handle operates all four brakes but the foot pedal only operates the rear brakes and this was the reservoir for the rear brakes only. The reservoir for the front handle is on the handle bar and it has a separate reservoir system and a separate braking system and it runs all four brakes.
