Setting Up Cables on an Akai MPC Drum Machine
This is D.J. Brasby here for Expert Village for shoots on tutorials on making beats with the MPC, the AKAI and our sound source is going to be final records from a turntable. We are going to run into the AKAI. If we take a quick look at the back of the MPC, we got jack labeled phones, that is for your headphone. You have a stereo out left, right and you are going to be running your signal from the MPC into your speakers there and we have record in right, left. All these are quarter inch jacks. There are also two mini outs and mini in, scuzzy - that is for your zip drive to save it, on/off button and the power cable. If you are using the RCA cables, you are going to have use adapters to make them quarter inch and you could plug those right in the back.
