How to use Compressors in Digital Performer

Hi, my name is Jeff Pence with UBU media on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip i'll demonstrate how to use compressors, limiters and gates in "Digital Performer". First we'll come up with a track. Select the lead vocal track level. We'll find the compressor dynamics (mono). These are presets for project files or compressor presets. Change your output level. There's a slight compression on it. If you want to use it as a gate just open up when it reaches a thresh hold. Hit the "Gate" button. Limiter. When it gets to that threshold we'll cut it off. That's how you use the gate, compressor and limiters.
