How to Audio Midi Tracks in Digital Performer

Hi, my name is Jeff Pence with Emi Media on behalf of Expert Village in this clip we'll be discussing how to setup and configure auto tracks in digital performer. First let's create a new audio track, go to the top same place as midi and project, add track, mono audio track and then we can move it around by hitting these arrows here or where you want it. Option click on the aim just like before and we'll call it this our guitar, guitar one track and to the left we can pick our input we're going to use that motu 828 analog 1 the first input on there. And as an output we're going to use we have to select a new stereo bundle, we're going to use analog 1 and 2 of the motu of the 828. If we're going to create multiple tracks it's just like creating multiple mini tracks where you hold down the option key, hit project, add track, multiple mono audio tracks. Two will be fine right now we'll name one of those guitar two, and we'll name this one bass, input we'll keep them the same. Now that we've used the input it comes down here. We can also highlight multiple tracks go to studio audio assignments and assign all those selected tracks which ever ones we want to use. We say analog 1 and 2 so they stay the same, the outputs they're all the same analog 1 and 2 you see we have a color right here next to the name, if you don't like your guitar tracks you can use a different color so you can tell them apart easier, bass we'll make blue you can color them however you want.
